Foam grades & types
STPE200 Ethafoam is a medium density non-cross-linked, expanded polyethylene foam. It is sometimes sold under the trade names Stratocell or Jiffy. Ethafoam generally starts as blocks or planks and then cut to size.
Ethafoam / Stratocell non-cross-linked polyethylene foam is a very versatile material and a popular choice for many packaging applications due to its lightweight and flexible nature. It provides excellent cushioned protection against persistent shocks in a large variety of applications and is a clean, non-abrasive material.Available in thicknesses of 5, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50mm in sheets or cut to size.

Aesthetically, Ethafoam/Stratocell polyethylene foam looks very similar to polystyrene foam and is often confused by this. However, the physical density, chemicals and characteristics of Ethafoam/Stratocell are entirely different from those that form polystyrene and should not be substituted without careful consideration.
